I only joined because I really liked the idea of hearing the behind the scene info or up coming attractions from all the networks like Chiller, Fearnet, Syfy and from my favorite actors \ directors \ writers.
Even though George Romero, Tom Savini, David Cronenberg, Bruce Campbell (and the list goes on)
are not on twitter (yet?) I still managed to 'follow' a good number of people, including Ted Raimi, who has really funny posts and even does the twitpic thing too (lol, we should call it something else)
I've been posting my artwork, both new and old. Its a shame I keep giving all my paintings away, I'm a sucker for the 'ol "Gosh this would look so spiffy in my dining room" or "My office needs more color" and I go "well *durr* you like it that much, please have it *grin stupidly*"
I've never thought of my art as marketable, I don't plan on selling anything, but I do enjoy making family and friends happy, even co-workers are given art randomly. I just have this need to give it away, in most cases people ask for it first, other times I just go "Happy Monday!" and go back to my art desk later and realize why all my walls are barren and art folder empty.
Ahwell, at least they aren't collecting dust on my shelf.
