See, a few months after I first moved to Kansas, I was in the grocery store and in the same isle as me, was a mother and her two young children, a boy and a girl, maybe 6 or 7? Who knows I'm terrible with ages, anyways---
I'm uncomfortable because the kids are scrappin' pretty hard, I mean the girls throwin punches as her brother throws slaps, it was kind of funny but I was worried about it getting close to me, so I went to turn my cart out of the isle when I heard this:
The cart squeaked to a stop and I covered my mouth but I couldn't help but snort laugh, I was in complete disbelief, I had never heard the word Cooter be used in a sentence before and it was
a w e s o m e
Anyways, I've heard this uncommon, yet hilarious word, be used a few times, watch its gonna catch on and end up in a movie. (That I'll probably love and laugh my ass off at)

That does sound excellent. The problem is, however, you can't say "cooter" and sound at all intelligent. Not even a stuffy librarian with a British accent could say "cooter" and keep his dignity.
ReplyDeleteIt's just one of those words.
Do you think there's a team mascot in Kansas somewhere called the "Kansas Cooter?"
